To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

Robert Elias Levine

Robert holds a Masters degree from the Jacobs School of Music where he studied under Richard Seraphinoff (modern and natural horn).

Robert received a Professional Performance Certificate from the Penn State School of Music, where he studied under Zachary Smith and Sarah Schouten. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music, where he studied under W. Peter Kurau (modern horn), and Derek Conrod (natural horn). In high school, Robert attended The Manhattan School of Music Pre-College program, where he studied with Barbara Jöstlein Currie, (Metropolitan Opera Orchestra). While at Interlochen Arts Camp, Robert studied with notable teachers and performers, including Bruce Henniss, Brad Gemeinhardt and Lisa Bontrager.

Robert has a wide performance palate. He has performed in notable halls around the New York area, such as Carnegie Hall, David Geffen hall, (formerly Avery Fisher Hall), Symphony Space and Kodak Hall at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester. Robert has been described as having a unique and beautiful sound, no matter what horn is in his hands. He regularly performs on both modern and natural horn.

Robert has performed in numerous masterclasses with William VerMeulen, Maria Serkin, Elizabeth Freimuth, Rose French, Zachary Smith and Julie Thayer. While at Eastman, Robert was involved in a wide variety of ensembles, including The Eastman Wind Ensemble (Mark Scatterday, director), Eastman Philharmonia (Neil Varon, director), and Musica Nova, the new music ensemble directed by Brad Lubman. Robert also was involved with the Eastman Horn Choir. Robert has performed with the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra, the Decibel Brass Quintet, and The Penn State Graduate Quintet. Robert was one of the original members of the Eastman Natural Horn Quartet, who made their debut in November, 2016 at the Rochester Early Music Festival Gala Concert.
